Academic Screenings
We recommend meeting with students prior to their first tutoring class for an academic screening. LearnAbility provides students with tailored learning.
Academic screenings are available for all age and grade levels.
Options for Academic Screenings include:
- Reading and Writing academic screening
- Reading, Writing and Math screening (or full screening)
- Math academic screening
- French placement test
Why should my student get an academic screening?
We know that every student learns differently. As a result, each student's learning plan should also be different. The purpose of an academic screening is to discover a student's strengths, weaknesses, and their grade level performance. Each screening includes a consultation, a report, and recommendations. It helps us choose the best possible program or combination of programs and strategies, for a child's learning plan.
As an added bonus - any future updated testing is FREE if you enrol your student in our program.
Depending on the age, grade, ability, and the testing utilized, testing can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Our screenings can be used for program placement, but sometimes parents simply want a screening done to see how their student is doing and enrol them at a later date. That option is also available.
