UPDATED COVID STATEMENT - APRIL 27TH, 2021 LearnAbility update: Due to the province-wide shut down, our office building will be completely closed until school returns. However, there is no interruption to our schedule. ALL of our classes are still available online - regular day, time and instructor with few exceptions. We will also have additional spots available for new students or parents who wish to increase their attendance over the next few weeks. We will also be adding additional protocols upon return. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact: email@example.com or 902.567.3356 Stay safe. Michelle AuCoin And Team
When we return after lockdown: Mandatory mask wearing was implemented in Nova Scotia in July 2020. Because we are a private facility with rooms as work areas, mask wearing is required for both students and staff when they enter the building, in all common areas, and in the tutoring rooms. At LearnAbility, we take the health and safety of our staff, students, families, and our community seriously. We have taken all of the necessary PPE protocols for our office and recognize the importance of following Public Health directives. If you are attending classes in the LearnAbility office, the health protocols will be reviewed with you and must be adhered to, in order for service to be provided in our office. Above all, no masks - no service. Additionally, hand sanitization, sanitization of all rooms and equipment, social distancing, and questionnaires to determine health and safety are utilized every time a student enters and leaves our building.
Our staff are vaccinated and we provided self-rapid testing on site which they are able to get done on a regular basis.
Under NO circumstances are children to attend LearnAbility if they present with any symptoms of Covid 19 (the infographic shown below). It is important to note that LearnAbility will maintain online tutoring classes in addition to in person. If you would prefer your child to be tutored online, we can reserve a spot for you. An infographic has been placed at the bottom of this page for your review. Students must learn how to use their mask before attending LearnAbility.
