Online learning does not have to be complicated. With LearnAbility Online, students are 100% guided by and connected with a tutor for every session. Staff are LIVE at all times. We recognize that children need the one-on-one connection to a LIVE instructor whether they are in person or in a virtual classroom. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. Is online tutoring a good option for my child? This past year, with educational changes due to Covid-19, children needed extra educational support. LearnAbility transitioned from a small e-learning program, to a solely online program during the height of Covid. One year later, we continue to provide reading, writing, and math intervention for children who have academic difficulties, and/or Learning Disabilities, and curriculum for ALL grade levels. Times have changed. Adapting to online learning is essential for all children and we are experts in online education. Learning online is not just , it is a lifestyle.
2. Is there a lot of technical requirements to getting tutored online? LearnAbility uses Zoom platform. It is user friendly, safe, and allows for face to face interaction and instruction. A computer, tablet, or iPad with visual and audio capabilities and a good internet connection are required. 3. Why should I consider online tutoring? There are many reasons why a family may opt for online tutoring: - It can be too far to travel for some families. - It saves time - For families with busy schedules, not only those who travel long distances, time can be cut down significantly by having tutoring at home. - Some rural communities do not have resources available. - Some students have anxiety in new surroundings and may be more comfortable learning at home.
