World famous Learning Disabilities expert Rick Lavoie (left photo) was the Keynote speaker at LearnAbility's first 'Meeting of the Minds' conference in 2019. Rick is an International best selling author, has had multiple PBS Specials, has spoken to hundreds of audiences all over the world, at conferences and to groups. Rick hails from Boston where he also served as an educator and principal for decades. His career spans well over 30 years. In addition to our Keynote, more than a dozen professional speakers presented to over 150 participants. It was an amazing conference with eye opening sessions on Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Assistive Technology, Advocacy, Reading, Writing, Math, and Student Supports. |
