Here's the thing - there are no special virtual programs. The key to our successful and growing online programs is tailored learning. Anything we can offer in person, we can offer online. This has always been the LearnAbility guarantee - tailored learning. When you enroll in virtual learning, whether it is one on one tutoring, a group refresher course, or a corporate workshop, the objectives are the same. We provide a consultation or screening. We determine what a student or group needs, we set goals and implement a plan that meets those specific needs. We deliver quality education online.
As a parent of a child who struggled with reading , comprehension and processing we reached out to Learnability midway through the second grade mark. Michelle was fantastic right from the start. My daughter felt an instant connection and comfort with her and this made her path to literacy much more comforting than it had been in her early years of school. Not one to complain about her challenges, Michelle worked with my daughter to ensure she would be able to both find understanding in reading and to advocate for herself as a child with a learning disability. It has been almost 9 years since we enrolled with Learnability and we are still proud to be part of their journey. Throughout COVID Michelle , Darryl and the team of educators worked to introduce everyone to Zoom tutoring online so kids wouldn’t fall behind! This was huge for us. By this time reading was now something my daughter actually enjoyed and I attribute this to Learnability. Michelle always made sure my daughter had an educator who fit the changing challenges she faced through each different year of literacy and math, and still makes sure she is on the path to success. These folks believe in abilities of each child and focus on what they know they can achieve and guide them through the challenges (and there can be many).
As a parent I cannot count the times I have said “you have to ask your tutor because I don’t know what they’re teaching you in math anymore but I don’t understand it!” And they have never let us down. I’m proud to say we’re still part of team Learnability and please believe me when I say , they have made all the difference.
